The work this semester will build on the foundation of work covered in the 1st semester. Hopefully, there will be more volunteer Presentations. Weekly-written reports about Weekend Activities will continue. Because of approaching winter and cold weather, a number of students will have medical needs; they catch colds, etc.. So, a long look will be taken at various symptoms of illness and physical injury. Also, medicine needs and advice are discussed. This study requires an extensive vocabulary. The remainder of the semester will be used to discuss Names and Addresses, for use when traveling or writing letters. All of this study will have practical application.

後期は前期の内容を基にした授業となり、学生のプレゼンテーションへの自主的参加を期待しています。週末についてのレポートは前期に引き続き毎週提出となります。冬に向かい風邪など体調を崩す季節に入るため、病気の症状や怪我、薬などについても話し合いますが、そのためには沢山の語彙学習が不可欠です。その他、将来の海外旅行や海外との手紙のやり取りのための、名前や住所の表示の仕方など、実用向きな内容を学習します。

Active participation of students in class is essential. The use of a dictionary is required.
